A batch of miniature rainbow cupcakes for my rainbow loving friend!
A birthday present presented in clear celophane and sealed with a bright bow (apologies for no presentation pics, but I was in a rush to catch up with the birthingday celebrations).
Really impressed at how well this recipe came out: a basic two egg cupcake recipe found on BBC food website, with added baking powder, and then turned into a rainbow (plenty of tutorials online)! :)

Pictures of our Mexican Day of the Dead Halloween party decorations!
There are some more somewhere …
Halloween window display for the trick-or-treaters - we had 6 groups this year!
Can you guess the theme of our party?
First attmpt at making our own pasta.
Realised how bad I am at kneading, however the boyf is very good and I much prefer making my own filling.
We sprinkled my new fav food, a spreadable spicy sausage called nduja, on top.
All in all, very tasty!
More creations in the kitchen this week:
The boyfriend and I never like to have the same meal twice, so when we have left over thai red/green curry paste to use up, we marinade some meat with it and make kebab skewers.
A fav comfort food of mine is cauliflour cheese with gammon, veg and gravy (check out the retro hobs, lol!). Summer has officially gone when I crack this meal out!
Here are a set of coasters I made for a friend who’s favourite colour is purple (she has great taste!).
I found this lovely photo of a purple iris. But I didn’t think it looked like much on its own, so I added some more texture and interest by cutting out and decoupaging white handmade paper over the background areas (unfortunately you can’t really see from this photo though).
A very different style to my previous decoupaged coasters!
These are great. Everthing sold by these guys is great … I wish I had the budget :(
There must be a way to improvise …
I love this idea for Christmas tree decoration, but I am thinking that if I come across any pocket watch cases, they are going to be turned into a pendant for a necklace … now to find some cheap pocket watch cases , hummmmm ….
