Here are a set of coasters I made for a friend who’s favourite colour is purple (she has great taste!). I found this lovely photo of a purple iris. But I didn’t think it looked like much on its own, so I added some more texture and interest by cutting out and decoupaging white handmade paper over the background areas (unfortunately you can’t really see from this photo though). A very different style to my previous decoupaged coasters!
